Scrambled Tofu |
| This version of tofu is a great day-starter. It's easy to make and will win over many who might be squeamish about eating tofu. Try it on toast or a bagel. | Click on an Image to Enlarge It |

Ingredients: 1 tub of firm tofu Drain and rinse the tofu and set aside. Heat the oil in a frying pan and saute the onion for a few minutes until it starts to clear. Add the soy sauce and tumeric and mix with the onion. Crumble the tofu into the onion mixture and stir to coat it with the seasonings. Cook few a few minutes until the tofu looses some of its moisture. Scrape the bottom of the pan occasionally so that it does not stick. Reduce the heat and add the cream cheese. Stir until the cream cheese has melted and coated the tofu. Serve while hot. |
