2007 Ford Focus

This little car came into the family when my older son bought upon graduating from college. It was an Enterprise renatl car and he got a decent deal on it in Seattle. He drove it for a few years and sold it to us for $1 when he moved to San Francisco. When he moved to Palo Alto he decided he needed a car and we sold it back to him for $1. A few years later after he'd moved a little bit to the south and bought a new car, we bought it back for the same $1 bill.

It's a good little car and has been well-maintained and should run forever or thereabouts. It's the base model so no cruise control or other amenities but a always starts and gets to where it needs to go. It's pure utilitarian.
