The 126 Instamatic

At some point in the mid-1960s I quit taking pictures with my Brownie and started using my parents' Kodak Instamatic Model 104. This was the camera my mom used as my dad usually shot pictures with his 35mm rangefinder. From what I've read online, this series of camera was Kodak's most successful in history, selling over 60 million of them in the 1960-1970s. Add to that the other companies who sold similar cameras and that's a lot of cameras which is why, today, it's pretty easy to find one inexpensively at any only auction site.

I didn't take many pictures during this time but I did take a few. Some samples are shown below:
